We arrived in Zurich this morning, quickly found the train station and boarded the train for Luzern, made our way to our hotel and then wandered around old town Luzern.
Our first views of Switzerland as we flew in.
Switzerland really has this public transportation thing figured out. It was seamless to transition from the plane to the train and head to Luzern.
Our hotel is the Drei Könige or Three Kings in Luzern. It is located pretty close to old town Luzern.
After we checked in brushed our teeth etc..... we took off to find lunch. We had lunch in this interesting little building.
This little pub is just down the street from our hotel.
Empanadas, salad and Spätzle, and of course a carafe of water for lunch.
Then it was off to check out the old town, chapel bridge and Bachmanns chocolate shop.

While we were wandering around the old town we stopped in Bachmanns candy shop and had hot chocolate. This hot chocolate was unlike any other hot chocolate I have ever had. They used a tall glass mug and poured in liquid chocolate and then added warmed, frothy milk. It was delicious!
